Welcome to Homeworker HQ. As you’re reading this, you probably work from home or you’re interested in making the jump to homeworking. Either way, thanks for visiting and we hope you find our website useful.
Who are we?
Homeworker HQ was launched by Adam Jones in April 2020, during the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) crisis.
Due to the lockdown, many more people than usual are working from home, so Adam thought it was the ideal time to share his experience of remote working and teach others how to work well from home.
Who is this website for?
Life will (hopefully) return to normal soon, and most people currently working from home will go back to office jobs. But not everyone.
People who worked from home anyway will continue to do so, and there will be a lot of new homeworkers, who will maintain at least some days from home even after the lockdown has ended.
There will also be people who return to ‘normal’ jobs but who dream of working from home one day.
This website is for all of you.
What is Homeworker HQ all about?
Homeworker HQ is split into five sections:
- Remote working: The general section where you will find articles on the broad subject of working from home.
- Home office: Where you can find out how to set up a home office that works for you, whatever the space available.
- Make money online: The place to start if you’re not already working from home but would like to. Or if you’re an existing homeworker looking to boost your income.
- Jobs: Where we explore the different roles that can be carried out from the comfort of your home.
- Productivity: The place to go for top tips to ensure you work well from home.
How is Homeworker HQ funded?
Homeworker HQ is supported by our readers. When you buy through our links, we may earn a small commission at no cost to you.
For example, if we review a chair, the review might include a link to Amazon. If you click that link and decide to buy something, we may get paid a commission from Amazon. Importantly – the thing you buy doesn’t cost you any more than it would usually. Our commission is paid by the retailer (Amazon, in this example), not by you.
Does this make us biased?
Absolutely not. We’re committed to giving advice with complete honesty and integrity.
We will never recommend a bad product simply to earn commission. If we did, we would soon lose the trust of our readers.
We like to be very upfront about how the site is funded. You’ll find a message about this at the top of every page, as well as this statement in our site footer:
Homeworker HQ is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
How can you keep in touch?

Finally, please feel free to contact us any time. We’d love to hear from you.
